The paper examines the changes that occurred in Greek society subsequent on the urbanization that occurred during the second half of the 20th c. It also looks at the urbanization of rural space, with examples and reference, regarding how the village has become a type of small city, thanks to these wider changes undergone by Greek society and by the Greek economy.
