The writer uses contemporary sociological and philosophical theories to note that in contrast to the culture of modernism, folk culture consisting of tradition is a culture οf dispositions characterized by a dominant poetic-philosophical disposition, which produces a powerful theory of life, leading to a truly interesting existence, in contrast to the boredom of urban culture.
