Research into the anthropological dimension of folk myth

The article deals with Greek works that examine how woman and man and mankind in general exist and act, mainly in folktale and, secondarily, in other forms of “ folk" myth. The number of such works makes it clear that even in Greece interest has increased in folktale, with particular emphasis upon its anthropological aspect, at various levels.
