In this ontological study, which constitutes a lecture delivered by the author at the University of Vienna and published in the Year book of Vienna 1982, the various views concerning the philosophical demonstration of God’s existence according to the philosophers Kant, and Bredano, in contrast to the position taken by Anselm of Canterbury and Cartesius on the same question, are expounded.
