An examination of articles and reports in the German press aboutthe Macedonian Question reveals that German journalists i) have beenincreasingly presenting and analysing the political aspects of the issue inrecent years; ii) make little or no reference to archaeological and linguisticdata; and iii) deliberately cultivate sympathy for the FYROM.
