In 1990 and 1991 the excavation at «Ambelia» of Agrosykia of Giannitsa yielded ten unlooted graves with interesting Early Iron Age finds. They were cist-graves with walls made of pebbles or stones. Male graves A, B, Γ yielded arms, while female gravesΔ, E, ΣΤ and Θ bronze jewellery, such as bracelets and fibulae for the shoulders and the head-dress. A bronze belt and a group of five anchor-shaped and three conical with corn-shaped lugs artefacts, found at the knees of the deceased of grave Θ, were the most interesting finds.
