Abstract:
During the “search for lost inscriptions” from Macedonia, a small slab of green marble was found at the Epigraphical Museum of Athens (Επιγραφικό Μουσείο), together with the three rediscovered inscriptions IG X 2,1 664, 665, 666 (see above “Deperditae etc", p. 21-27, for details). It is part of an unpublished funerary inscription of Roman times, from Thessaloniki. All those four inscriptions are recorded in the Catalogue of Stone Objects of the Archaeological Society (Αρχαιολογική Εταιρεία) and the Catalogue of the Epigraphical Museum, which Ch. Edson apparently did not see.
