The ancient fauna of the prehistoric settlement of Arhondiko, Pella perfecture

The subject of this study is the osteological material collected from the prehistoric settlement of Arhondiko, Pella prefecture. A statistical and spatial analysis of the archaeo-zoological material, the provenance and the morphological and functional use of the anatomical vehicle of the bone objects, and an analysis of the anthropological finds are the 3 basic areas of study. The main aim is to investigate the inhabitants’ relations with the domesticated and wild fauna and the development of the settlement’s agricultural economy.
