Fairytales of the Azofiki Greeks : a review

The article deals with the fairytales of the Azofiki Greeks, of the woutheastern Ukraine, and to the few existing studies of these fairytales. Many of these fairytales can be found in Greece, Cyprus, Asia Minor and the Black Sea. In some fairytales two, or even three, types of fairytales are mixed. In any case, the fairytales of the Azofiki Greeks, are to be placed in the Greek oral tradition and can be included in the broad corpus of Greek fairytales.
