In this article are presented a number of bronze ornaments and vases which were found in pit - graves (inhumation burials ) of the village Spelaion ( Gre- vena district ). Among them there are spectacle - fibulae and a vase belonging to the class known as « Macedonianmatt-painted pottery » (figs. 1 - 6 ) ' In general the finds dated not later than the 9th cent. B.C. are of particular interest because they can be related to finds in other adjacent areas ( Epirus - W. Macedonia ).
