New latin inscription from Patras

A new latin inscription, probably funerary, found in the building plot of Apostolos Koukos on No. 132 Ka- raiskaki Street, is being published ( fig. 1 ). It is being partly completed with the help of the GIL III, 508. It gives the names ( nomina ) of two roman veterans, probably among those established by Augustus at the Colonia Aroe Augusta Patrensis. According to the inscriptions, the colonials were members of the Legio XIII Fulminata and of some questionable Legio II Equi., which also appears in the new inscription.
