Abstract:
In Chora on Chios there is a collection of some 150 vases dating from the Byzantine period to the 20th c., housed in the Mosque. They are stray finds collected from different places on the island by the auxiliary Epimelete at the time, 'Ant. Stefanou, in the years 1952-1982. This article deals chiefly with the Byzantine pottery; the Post-Byzantine and later pottery was published in Κεραμεικά Χρονικά 55 (1990).
