Giannis Sideris and the Θίασος των Νέων : a dim source

The author of the article in trying to verify the information given by the historian of modern Greek theatre, Giannis Sideris, on the activity of a theatre company created by young actors between 1924 and 1929, in which he collaborated for several productions and especially with the translation of Plautus Milles Gloriosus and Aristophanes’ Plutus. The group called «Company of the Young» (Θίασος των Νέων) was aiming at a decentarised theatre activity and the promotion of its contemporary Greek playwriters. The complete catalogue of the performaces of the group is presented in an appendix followin the article.
