Abstract:
In order to research the crises that the tribal system of the Arabs faced, we must inquire the historical events that rendered its internal contradictions overt. In order to comprehend the crisis phenomenon of the Arab model, we have to analyze the reasons why such a system was sustained for a long period of time and the reasons why it was ultimately questioned. We must reject the viewpoint according to which the Arabs’ tribal system was subjected to crisis due to the vicinal people’s influences. Such a viewpoint must be rejected because the other model’s influences are not imposed upon as forceful views, but guide the revealed contradictions to the challenge of solutions which have to fit to the conditions and to the history of the people who face this crisis.During the latest pre-Islamic period, the Arabs’ tribal system was subjected to a crisis due to the documentary conditions. The fugitives, the expatriated, the cities’ and the desert’s fringe created problems to the tribal system, which had to reconstruct itself for its new needs. There was an overt intention to question the past. The social preparation for the appearance and the victory of Muhammad had just started and the moment of rupture with the system’s basic elements was not far to come. At the early 7th century the conditions were open to the radical change of the Arab world to the Arab-Islamic world.
