The paper describes in detail the paintings and inscriptions that ornate the post-Byzantine monastery of the Holy Trinity at Myrrinion, in the region of Megara (Western Attica). Its conclusions are an important contribution to the study of the aesthetic, religious and social climate of that particular region in the post-Byzantine era, when Attica fell under the domination of various foreing masters.
