A bibliography of Nikos Kazantzakis 1973-2002 : (and supplements to the previous bibliographies)

The author publishes a list of 488 books and articles referring to the life and work of Nikos Kazantzakis. This Bibliography has been compiled following two criteria: 1) it comprises only works written in Greek, and 2) it covers the period 1973-2002, since the author does not wish his list to overlap with previous Bibliographies by Nikos Katsimbalis and Peter Bien, covering the periods 1906-1948 and 1949-1972 respectively. Nevertheless, Perantonakis’ Bibliography supplies some entries that have been omitted by the aforementioned authors, as well as by G. Panagiotou, who provided, in 1979, a first supplement to Katsimbalis’ Bibliography. The purpose of the author is to contribute to the eventual compilation of an exhaustive bibliography of Nikos Kazantzakis for the 20th century.
