As goal of this article may be considered the investigation of the dangers that the preference of a growing amount of people towards the private sector of education brings out, replacing thus, the traditional trust to the public educational establishments. This preference is the result of a late wealth of great part of the Greek population, as well as the result of a growing crisis of the public education, dew to the rising numbers of immigrant children studying in public schools, and the diminution of funds destined to education.In Argentina, this very problem has already been converted to an established situation, because of the political and social decisions made in the last fifteen years, mostly by the menemist governments, whose educational choices have been disastrous and probably not retrievable.The lack of funding, the problems generated by the multicultural composition of scholar population dew to the composition of argentine society, and the professional disdain of the educators affirmed by the latest educational law and the economical practice of the government that has limited their income to 300 U$S, have made the selection of a private school a natural choice by the parents who can afford it. Meanwhile, the rest of the parents have no other option, but to limit their children to an insufficient, labouroriented public education, with no humanistic character or so.The article contains short references to the rest of the Mercosur countries, as well as the translation of the main parts of the latest educational law in greek.
