This article suggests a unified method of overcoming reading and writing disabilities, through an attempted combination of instructive and supportive activities in teaching. In the first part, the inherent weaknesses of the application of this method which are due to the complexity of the subject - are spotted presented, followed by suggested ways to solve them. In continuation, we propose an analytical presentation of the units, the didactic methodology and the aims of the lessons.There are 9 suggested units, which aim at information retention and the handling of language disabilities. Both short-term and long-term memories are reinforced through printed material and the use of pre-selected computer tasks on mnemonics, such as: encoding, organization, repetition, storage, retrieval and recognition. At the same time, language disabilities are addressed through activities on phonology elaboration, auditory and visual distinction, articulation, comprehension and production. Finally, there are re-evaluation sections, which act as checking activities.
