This in the paper Balkan is a region proposalI initially for introducing refer to the a plan importance for 'Critical of Education Pedagogy for and Peace Education and then for Peace'to the need for stressing its Balkan dimension as part of a broader European and global trend for promoting education for peace. Finally I try to trace those issues through which the above trend can relate to preschool, school, tertiary and continuing education and lifelong learning as they develop in south-eastern Europe.
