Abstract:
The current article aims to present the outcomes of a qualitative study concerning school teachers' understanding about the cross-curricular (or interdisciplinary) teaching approach and the teaching method of project work as well as sources of information for these teaching approaches. The methodology applied is qualitative and used the research method of interviews. The sample of the study was 33 primary school teachers from three different regions of Greece. In conclusion, the analysis showed that the teachers know and understand the cross-curricular teaching approach better than the teaching method of project work, and that the main sources of information are the in-set seminars and colleagues.
