The present study mainly focuses into the way that students with different performance approach the strategies and their active presence in class. Moreover, the research investigates the evaluation of either their participation in educational process, or their relationship with their classmates. The sample consisted of 157 elementary schools students of Evros, 69 boys and 88 girls. Thirty eight students were of fourth-grade class, 44 were studying in the fifth-grade class and 75 were students of the sixth-grade class. In order to collect the data, a questionnaire was composed and distributed, whereas, regarding the students' evaluation issues, we used the school records. Our results revealed that performance is related to the strategies students apply in class.
