The main aim of this work is the comparative research in the operation of the "Didaskalio" and the "Pedagogical Academy" of Fiorina and their enrollment to the environment and the circumstances of the little town. The "Didaskalio" of Fiorina was founded by the Law of 29 September 1926. In 1929 this institution which was planted to have 6 classes was transformed to a 5 classes institution, according to the Law 4368/9.8.1929. "Didaskalio" gave theoretical and practical training to the teachers of the future till 1935, without pauses. The "Pedagogical Academy" of Fiorina" was founded by the Law 739/14.11.1941 and started to function in 1941 .This institution was replaced by the Pedagogical School of Primary Education which was founded in 1989 in Fiorina. Although the two institutions belong to different periods of the Greek Educational History, their presentation in the same social and political environment, and their similar aims allow us to claim that the comparative research of their programs, and their Registers of pupils offer a clear view of the educational history of the whole area of Fiorina. In order to search the statistical elements of the Didaskalio of Fiorina some important sources were examined as the Registers of pupils and the Evaluation Book, which extend from 1926-1935. In order to search the statistical elements of the "Pedagogical Academy" of Fiorina the whole archive of this Academy, guarded to the Pedagogical School of Primary Education was used as a source. This archive extends from the 1941 till 1989. In addition to them the articles of the local newspapers were used to throw light in the operation of the two institutions. The research was focused on four points: The research was focused on five points: 1. Similarities and differences in the social background of the students of the "Didaskalio" and the "Pedagogical Academy". Examination of the reasons, using criteria as the historical events and the social circumstances.2. Similarities and differences in the geographical origin of the pupils of the "Didaskalio" and the "Pedagogical Academy". Justification.3. Similarities and differences concerning the different access of each sex in the education, offered by one or another institution.4. Evaluation about the different role of each institution in the society of Fiorina.
