Sources for the mantime history of Greece : fifteenth to seventeenth century

The aim of my paper is to systematise and assess archival sources and the secondary literature on Greek maritime history from the fifteenth to the seventeenth century. To this end, I have sorted the pertinent primary sources into nine categories: 1. records of administrative authorities of foreign suzerains and great powers trading in the Levant, 2. diplomatic reports, 3. archives of port and customs offices, 4. judicial records, 5. records of provisioning authorities, 6. personal records (notarial codices, commercial correspondence, etc.), 7. travel literature, 8. diaries and chronicles, and 9. commercial manuals.
