The purpose of this paper is to present a specially designed learning environment, making use of various technologies to support young students' argumentation in science, both indoors and outdoors. More specifically, Technoskepsi, the learning environment was implemented with 18 students from a sixth-grade elementary school. The students worked in groups of three both in-doors and out-doors for a period of eight, 80 minute lessons. The preliminary data analysis suggests that the students engaged in argumentation, both indoors and outdoors, and that the mobile devices scaffolded the students during the outdoors investigation.
