Abstract:
This article presents a research concerning the perceptions of secondary technical-vocational school teachers about the education of immigrant students. The students' performance, the language problems, the teaching and learning of first language and culture are some of the subjects on which teachers express their beliefs. One of the main findings of this research is that the basic issue of teachers' perceptions is problems existing in Greek secondary technical- vocational education in general. These problems -and of course their solutions- are not connected with the students' origin.
