Abstract:
This paper is written primarily for those engaged in administration and planning in preschool education; secondly, those involved in any other level of educational administration, who seek a more general understanding of educational planning and of how it is related to overall school development. The rationale behind this paper is that planning constitutes a major issue in the structure, administration and management in education. Therefore, the author's concern is twofold: to reach a better understanding of the key terms planning and time in their own empirically observed dimensions and to help in identifying stages and types of planning and defining appropriate planning strategies within educational settings, especially that of the kindergarten.
