Abstract:
The change in the educational systems constitutes a dynamic process which is taking place both on a medium- term and a long term level as well. The concern expressed and the reforms that have already been made in the State members of the European Union, bear evidence that prove that those who are responsible for educational matters are taking action against the problems they are faced with. They have taken on the responsibility to adapt both their systems and their predictions, so as to cope with the challenges of the society and the "economy" of knowledge as well. However, the States have different starting points and the various reformations reflect different national realities and priorities respectively. The introduction of innovations in the Educational policies is achieved through the exchange of information, methods, opinions and through a process of interaction between the policies adopted by the State Members. The question of how the reforms referred to at the pertinent programmes have penetrated into the Greek Educational system and to what extend they have influenced its quality, has been of great concern to us and has prompted us to carry out the current research.
