Abstract:
The international community considers the reform of the curriculum as the only perspective for Bosnia-Herzegovina. There is not the Ministry of Education on the governmental level which is the key factor for the success of the reform in this country. The structure of the authorities in the education is not changed: centralized manner of managing education in Republica Srpska the management of education at many levels in Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and all the authority in ten Cantonal Ministers which keeps fragmented educational system and autonomous system in Brcko District. There are organisational units named «Two schools under one roof» in three cantons of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which use different curricula. In Bosnia and Herzegovina, the obligatory nine-year primary education and inclusion have been introduced. The senior students in gymnasiums take the final examination according to the programme of external examination. Most of the institutions of higher education have accepted the Bologna process.
