Abstract:
The purpose of this research is to identify the factors affecting a child's school success or failure and how they function.The research, concerning students in primary school, examined their parents' social and educational background, as well as each student's performance in main school subjects. It was concluded that student's school performance is socially determined and the main factors affecting it are, on the one hand, the parents' educational background and on the other, the parents' profession.
