Abstract:
This paper is couched within the hypothesis that verbal morphology can provide a determiner on the event description. Ιt explores a particular construction in Greek and argues that it contains a free choice indefinite description. Ιn the course of the investigation, the following topics are addressed as well: existential constructions, interval semantics, the meaning of Universal Perfect, temporal modifiers, raising.
