Abstract:
Both classical Analytic Hierarchy Process and Analytic Network Process appear to be somewhat laboriousfor application in projects with restricted budgets. Their binary and ternary versions seem to be quite sufficientfor a reasonably small amount of alternatives and criteria. Occurrences of ’ties’ in a ternary AHP is considered inparticular in this work. Correlations between the number of ’ties’ and the total number of cycles in a connectedgraph associated with a comparison matrix are discussed.
