This article gives a short account of the Educational Programme “Greek as a Second Language for Employed Immigrants” of the General Secretariat for Adult Education and the Institute for Continuing Adult Education (Operational Programme for Education and Initial Vocational Training II of the Ministry of National Education and Religious Affairs). It outlines its goal and objectives, its theoretical framework, the adopted teaching approach, the selected or devised educational material, the educational content of each learning level-cycle, and the content of the teachers ’ training seminar.
