Abstract:
The doubt, the thought, either confirms or draws back Metaphysics is reinforced when stability and full certainty of the temporary world is reassured, or is drawn back when the entity matter is offered; when goes against the Spiritual Truth. In the first case, Gratylos, is the most representative example of the doubt expressed towards the temporality of the phenomena. In the second case, belong the Sophists, who threw down with their absolute relativity and their entity stability.Heraclitus adds a new view to the progressive view of skepticism. He formulates the fluidity of the perceptibly, finds out their true purpose while at the same time concerns the eternal and indestructable truth of the matter. The human being can reach the Truth only when one exceeds the changeability of the perceptibly and gets to understand the matter. This is the reason why "doubt" is the only acceptable way of life. The human speech, with doubt, reaches the speech of the world. That way, Heraclitus formulates the so-called "dogmatic scepticism" who behind the temporality, persists as an existing variable and undiminished overeality.
