A short archaeological guide of Antioch in Pisidia features a small late Byzantinecrystal pendant icon with an unasual representation of the Lamentation. Thescene was influenced by the iconographie subject of Saint-Mandydion in combinationwith the popular occidental iconographie scene of the Pietà.
