Gregory Paschalidis is Assistant Professor in the Department of Journalism and MassCommunication at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece). He is the author of The Poetics ofAutobiography (Athens,1993); Introduction to Modern Culture (Patra, 2003); Photography. Uses andMeanings (forthcoming), all in Greek, and shorter studies on literary theory, mass media and culturalstudies. His current research interests include work on photography, visual culture and culturalidentities.
