In his article the author describes the economic, social and political environment and the influence of the foreign economists on the spanish economists. Especially the author mentions the impact of the english classical school on the spanish economic thought in favor of the economic liberalism. And at this point the author explores the economic theories of Jovellanos, Labraba and Estrada.
