This paper deals with the general theory of interdependence as applied to economic concept of production function. General economic theory concerning production function and input-output analysis are presented as a basis for the extensions of theory to construct a multi – state input-output model. Sections from the literature dealing with the general economic theory are included which are pertinent to the input-output concepts presented in the study. There fore, this paper will serve as a foundation for the extension of theory to construct a multi stage input – output model.
