The writer, one of the most well-versed philologist educator of Constantinople (1914-1998), describes the story of the school during the Turkish domination, characterizing it as Ecumenical not only for the extent of its offer but also for its students and teachers' origin. He studies the school's progress, under the constant Ecumenical Patriarchate's wing justifies the conservativenessa of mother Church' policy and mentions the progressiveness in education which with the approval of the Church, the Πατριαρχική Μεγάλη του Γένους Σχολή expresses. The Study is completed with the statement in its last building which was established on 30.1.1880 and consecrated on 14.9.1882. I t is also stated how the Partriarch Ioakim III raised the money for the rennovation of the building under the supervision of the architect Konstantinos Dimadis.
