An archaic incription from Naxos

Abstract:
The author publishes an archaic funerary inscription from Δαμαριώνας village in Naxos. It is written in false boustrophedon style. It is dated to c. 650 – 625 B.C. In the inscription the grave of the dead Δαμέας is called οίκος. The word in this sense is known only from another 7th cent, funerary inscription from Aigiale in Amorgos (IG XII 7, 442).
