Abstract:
We present here two double axes, new acquisitions of the Museums of Agrinion and Patras. The first one (figs. 1 - 2 ), a LH piece from Aetolia, of excellent preservation, shows on one side traces of its intensive use as a tool. The second one (figs. 3-4), also of excellent preservation, belongs to a group of different antiquities of unknown provenance. This axe, as its features indicate, is probably Minoan.
