Abstract:
The plan of the monumental Hadria-nic building in Hadrian Street No 78 (AAA I ( 1968 ), p. 223) was completed on the basis of new details (plan 1 ). The ruins in the basement of Hadrian Street No 84 are all part of it and in clude part of its North wall and of its larger pronaos. A few yards beyond, the pronaos was found in MnisikleousStreet during drainage work. Further East the pronaos is well preserved in the basement of Hadrian Street No 86. Finally the drainage work further up in Mnisikleous Street led to the discoveryof a marble pavement and a pillar of Carystian marble (fig. 1), which also belonged to the pronaos.
