An extended Mycenaean cemetery in west Zakynthos ( Zante ). A two-was located near the village Cambi, days research undertaken in spring 1971 revealed 5 plundered and 1 semi- plundered rectangular slab - covered shaft - graves.In the semi - plundered grave were found three alabastra, one stirrup jar and one jug, all of the beginning of the LH III C 1 period.Other monuments of the Mycenaean Era in Zakynthos are a tholos - tomb on the hill Akrotiri, a second tholos - tomb near the village Keri and possibly a third tholos - tomb (?) on the Ghe- rakas peninsula.
