Concerning the decipherment of the Linear Β Script

In the above article the writer answers certain reservations which were expressed in connection with his views on the decipherment of the Linear Β Script, as these were set forth in his study entitled «The Minoan script in the Pylos Tablets» (Athens 1976). The writer offers certain additional clarifications as concerns the method of decipherment which he follows and which leads to conclusions totally different from those resulting from the application of Ventris' theory. In this article the writer attempts the reading and interpretation of the very interesting Pylos Tablet An 724 on the basis of his own theory.
