• Dr Eleni Berki is an Assistant Professor at the School of Information Sciences of the University ofTampere, in Finland. Her teaching and research involve multidisciplinary subjects where shesupervises many MSc and Ph.D. students. Prior to this she studied, lived and worked in Greece, UKand China. She is interested in process metamodelling, cognition and IT quality management andhow these are applied, implemented and understood in different national and organizationalcultures and socio-educational contexts. She has published around 90 international refereed papers,chapters, books, and industrial reports. There are many references and citations by otherinternational researchers to her published work. She has worked as a quality researcher andconsultant in European IT industry for innovative applications and technologies and as a visitinglecturer and assistant professor in European and international academic institutes. She has given anumber of conference and invited talks in quality-interested forums and organizations, and haswork experience from e-learning projects in Europe and in Asia. She is a member of manyinternational professional societies and scientific committees.
