Abstract:
After a short report to the prosocratic philosophers with regard to scepticism, the basic aim of this study is to present analytically Pyrho's knowledge and also prove that this serves the morality. There are explained according to his pupil Timon of Phlius, the basic meanings, «άρρεπία», «αφασία», «εποχή», on which Pyrho's knowledge is based. There are also presented the factors that formed Pyrho's knowledge: a) the Indian iniluence b) the intellectual situation ot his days and c) Democritu's influence. At the end, there is a criticism oî Pyrrhonism and there is made a mention of the influence of Pyrrhonism on the younger philosophers especially on Hume.
